No matter what you determine, or how you think things will be.... sometimes, life just takes it's course. It's not a bad thing. It just IS. And for people such as myself, who like to plan, coordinate, and like to think you have control of things- it makes me patient, flexible, let go of the reigns, and enjoy more of what I didn't realized there was to enjoy.
Didn't someone once say to stop and smell the flowers?
How many flowers I would've missed if life hadn't taken it's course. Those flowers are now some of my most favorite memories, most treasured people, and that which has changed me the most.
Thank you Lord for everything we don't know, everything we do know, and everything you do and know on our behalf. Where would we be without you? For you make the most beautiful flowers of all.
